On April 19, 2021, SWB attorneys Aaron Hayes and Adam Crain participated in the 2021 Classical Conversations Homeschool Mock Trial Event at the historic courthouse in downtown York, South Carolina. Aaron served as the judge and Adam served as a juror, alongside other local attorneys. Students from Rock Hill, Fort Mill, and Lake Wylie participated in the case, which involved a real estate developer charged with criminally negligent construction practices.
Aaron also provided a mentoring session to the students prior to the event. Aaron has participated in the event for the past few years, and always enjoys seeing case presentations from the next generation of potential attorneys from his home county.
