An experienced courtroom advocate, Aaron has tried numerous high-stakes criminal and civil cases to bench and jury verdict. Aaron also regularly represents clients before the South Carolina appellate courts, both on brief and through oral argument.

Aaron joined the firm after graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He maintained a general litigation and appellate practice and provided coverage advice to insurance carriers.

After his initial tenure with the firm, Aaron worked for nearly seven years as an assistant solicitor with an upstate Solicitor’s Office (South Carolina’s equivalent of district attorney). He was assigned a wide variety of cases and handled criminal charges ranging from minor traffic infractions to homicides.

In 2020, Aaron rejoined the firm to resume his civil litigation practice.  Since then, he has devoted his practice to representing trucking companies, retail establishments, industrial facilities, licensed professionals, and others in their litigated matters.  Additionally, Aaron assists clients in the fields of complex litigation, insurance coverage and litigation, probate litigation, and institutional crisis consulting.

As a native of York County, South Carolina, Aaron enjoys remaining connected to the happenings of his beloved home county. Aaron, his wife, and their five children live in their adopted “hometown” of Columbia, where they are active parishioners in their church and Aaron serves on the Vestry.
