Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, P.A. is excited to announce that Aaron Hayes has joined the firm’s Columbia office as of counsel.
Hayes originally joined the firm after graduating cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He became an associate at the firm and maintained a general litigation and appellate practice. Hayes also provided legal advice to insurance carriers.
After his initial tenure with the firm, Hayes worked for nearly seven years as a prosecutor with an upstate Solicitor’s Office. As a prosecutor, Hayes tried numerous cases to verdict and handled complex plea negotiations on a wide variety of cases. He has handled criminal charges ranging from minor traffic infractions to homicides.
