Property Transaction

Welcome! Attached is information about 3.4 +/- acres for sale in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, believed to be the largest remaining undeveloped residential parcel in the Village. This unique property, located at 651 McCants Drive, is the remnant of the family farm on which Governor James B. Edwards lived as a boy. After the death of his parents in the early 1980's, Jim rented out their home until transferring the property to his children in 2012.

The property is zoned R-2, and includes approximately 290 feet of frontage on McCants Drive and 575 feet of frontage on Jackson Street.

The brick home on the property was built in the 1970's, has three bedrooms and two full baths, and measures approximately 2,100 square feet. The house is livable, though future owners may wish to renovate, move, or raze the home for development of the property.

The sale of the property will be based on written, sealed bids, as detailed in the attached "Terms and Conditions of the Sealed Bid Process." If I can answer any additional questions, however, please feel free to call Ken Wingate at 803-256-2233 (work) or 803-606-9021 (cell), or you may email me at kbw@swblaw.com.
