Matt joined Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, P.A. in June 2009 after completing an LL.M. in Taxation from the
University of Florida
. His areas of emphasis with the firm include estate planning, federal and state taxation, probate administration and litigation, and general business planning and corporate law. Matt has also graduated from the
South Carolina Honors College
with a degree in economics and the University of South Carolina School of Law where he was an editor for the Real Property Probate and Trust Journal. Prior to joining Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow, Matt helped represent
South Carolina
school districts in the areas of litigation, finance, taxation, construction, contracts, procurement, school board governance and elections. Matt also worked for several years prior to law school for Carolina First Bank in Greenville and
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
