Aaron joined Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow in September 2011.  Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Aaron worked for the firm as a law clerk throughout his law school career.

Aaron received both his Bachelor's and law degrees from the University of South Carolina. While an undergraduate, Aaron was a student in the Honors College and an active member of Reformed University Fellowship. In law school, Aaron was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Coif, and the Order of the Wig and Robe. He authored the article Should a Scintilla be Enough? The Proper Standard for Summary Judgment in South Carolina, 61 S.C. L. Rev. 737 (2010).

Aaron is a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is married to the former Maria Blumenstein of Greenwood, South Carolina. Aaron and Maria enjoy spending time with their friends in their neighborhood in Forest Acres. They are active members of Columbia Crossroads Church.

When not practicing law, Aaron enjoys playing golf with his father. He is also a lifelong Carolina Panthers fan.
