Benson jointed the firm upon graduating the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006.  Prior to law school, Benson graduated cum laude from the Clemson University in 2003, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.  While at Clemson, Benson was a member of Sigma Nu and served as president of both the Tiger Brotherhood and Blue Key honorary service fraternities.

Benson's practice areas include transportation, premises liability, products liability, medical malpractice, construction defects and general auto negligence cases.  He is admitted to practice law in both Federal and State Courts.

Benson is a native of Hartsville, South Carolina, and is married to Lara Clemons Driggers, also of Hartsville.  Benson and Lara are active members of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbia.  While not practicing law, Benson is a passionate devotee of Clemson Tigers athletics (especially football), shooting his shotgun, and picking his guitar.
