Jonathan joined the firm after graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007. He graduated magna cum laude from
Clemson University
in May 1999, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science. Prior to law school, Jonathan was active in politics and held positions with the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Jonathan's practice areas include construction litigation, medical malpractice defense, trucking litigation, and insurance defense. He is admitted to practice law in both federal and state courts.
Jonathan is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, and is married to Stephanie Everhart Yarborough, formerly of
Bristol, Virginia
. Jonathan and Stephanie are both members of First Presbyterian Church of Columbia. Jonathan serves as president of the Midlands Young Republicans and enjoys hunting, fishing, running, tennis, basketball, and watching college football.
