Brandon Gottschall joined Sweeny, Wingate and Barrow, P.A. in 2015, following a three year judicial clerkship under the Honorable Terry L. Wooten, Chief United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina. Brandon is a 2012 graduate from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal. Brandon also served in leadership positions for several law school organizations, including the Christian Legal Society and the Federalist Society.

Brandon received his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree, cum laude, in Political Science from the University of South Carolina Upstate. Brandon remains actively involved with the University of South Carolina and the School of Law. He has appeared as a speaker on several panels and as an Honorary Faculty Member for the law school’s inaugural Legal Writing Academy.

Brandon is a native of Greenville, South Carolina and is married to Erin Marie Gottschall. Brandon and Erin have one daughter and are active members at Grace Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. While not practicing law, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor sports, anything related to literature, and carpentry and home restoration projects.
